Introduction
Moustawa 2 builds upon the foundation of the first level through the following books:
- Creed: Kitab At-Tawheed
- Hadith: Hadiths 21 to 42 from The 40 Hadiths of An-Nawawi
- Fiqh: Chapter on Prayer from Al Fiqh Al Muyassar
- Manhaj: The Methodology of the Prophets in Preaching – Shaykh Rabiʿ Ibn Hadi Al Madkhali
This level is essential and complements the first one; it is indispensable for strengthening one’s foundations in belief, jurisprudence, and hadith. It includes the greatest book ever written on the subject of monotheism: Kitab At-Tawhid, which every student must study and master. Additionally, a new subject is introduced: Manhaj (methodology), with a crucial book by one of the greatest scholars of our time, Shaykh Rabiʿ Ibn Hadi Al Madkhali—may Allah preserve him. This second level is a key milestone. Those who complete it will have overcome the most challenging part, and it is rare for a student who has successfully passed this stage to give up afterward.
Books
كتاب التوحيد
A fundamental book that explains the nature of monotheism (Tawhid) while warning against forms of polytheism (Shirk). Kitab At-Tawhid relies on proofs from the Qur’an and Sunnah, presenting the principles of Tawhid in a clear and structured way.
This course is based on the commentary “Al-Qawl As-Sadid Fi Maqasid At-Tawhid” by Sheikh Abdurrahman Ibn Sa’di, which provides valuable and accessible explanations of this essential work.
الفقه الميسر (٢)
This module covers the Book of Prayer (Salat), a fundamental pillar of Islam. It explains the conditions of validity, obligations, recommended (Sunnah) acts, and actions that invalidate prayer. The simplified approach, based on authentic sources of Fiqh, facilitates the understanding and correct application of prayer in daily life.
الأربعون النووية (٢)
Hadiths 21 to 42, with the commentary of Sheikh Ibn Uthaymin.
This second part completes the study of the 40 Hadiths of An-Nawawi, an essential collection that conveys the fundamental principles of Islam through clear and concise prophetic teachings. These hadiths cover various topics, including faith, morality, worship, and social interactions.
منهج الأنبياء
In this book, the author explains the way of the Prophets in calling to Allah, highlighting the wisdom and methodology used by the messengers in spreading the message of Tawhid. This work is a valuable reference for understanding how divine guidance was conveyed over time and how to apply this approach in modern-day preaching and teaching.
